Summary

New London-based American mother Beth flies to Croatia to relax with her friend Kate. Beth admits that her marriage was in trouble and that she was not sure what to do. They went to a club and two men flirted with them. Kate instructs Beth to stand overnight. The next morning, Beth wakes up foggy about the night's events and realizes that Kate is missing. Her husband Rob and the police are indifferent, but Zain, the taxi driver who drove them to the club, agrees to help. Beth returns Kate's purse and phone and learns that the man from the club has been hired by Kate. However, they are also men who use drugs and rob women they serve. Beth returned to the police, who began a formal investigation. Rob arrives and immediately suspects Zain. Kate's body was soon found. Beth searches her phone for clues and a message between Rob and Kate that reveals an off-stage love affair. Beth was summoned to the police station as the main suspect. It was revealed that both Kate and Beth had drugs in their system, as Beth suspected due to her memory loss, and she insisted she was on drugs. Beth found the car belonging to Pavić, the police who suspected her. Beth and Zain interview the taxi driver who drove Kate that night. He said Kate let him follow the two men and he dropped her off at the police station. Beth was named the suspected killer and she and Zain were arrested. Beth concludes that Pavić was involved in Kate's disappearance. Zain sacrifices herself so that Beth can escape, but she is captured by Pavić. They struggled and he fell from the building to his death. Beth was acquitted. Back in London, Rob wants to reconcile, but Beth refuses. While searching for her car keys, she found beads from the necklace she gave Kate in Rob's shirt pocket. She learns that Rob killed Kate and confronts him while confronted by police. He confessed that he flew to Croatia to stop Kate from exposing their relationship, argued with her and pushed her into the water before running away. Police arrest him and leave him behind
